Our performance is a familiar childhood tale about the adventures of the cheerful young Troubadour and his friends – Donkey, Dog, Cat, and Rooster. The director has edited the play, adding characters and several new episodes to create a rich and engaging story for both children and adults. This two-act musical is full of songs and choreography. The sets and costumes are as close as possible to the animated films, bringing the characters to life on the stage.

Our tale will feature a new character – the Maid of Honor, who will unite the two loving hearts of the Princess and the Troubadour. On their journey to happiness, the heroes will encounter robbers and the Chieftain, a brilliant detective, and the royal guard, who are determined to keep the Princess from her golden cage and the King’s custody.

The story tells the story of life’s most important things: true friendship, kindness, and love can help you find a way out of any situation. And, of course, you’ll hear the famous songs “Nothing in the World Better,” “Troubadour’s Serenade,” and others performed by the actors of the Chekhov Theatre.
