Many more amazing things await you after the curtain rises… The poor orphan, deprived not only of maternal love but also of the most basic material necessities, is incredibly rich in soul. But in our pursuit of material goods, we sometimes forget the simplest truth, expressed by the sage Pythagoras: “You have nothing, man, but your soul.” We rejoice that at the end of the play, Cinderella’s kind heart and noble deeds are rewarded, and she finds her happiness. This meek and hardworking, modest and cheerful, sincere and faithful heroine comes to us again and conquers our hearts.
